Sea Passion Yachting provides professional Captain, Crew and Yacht Delivery services in Cyprus, Greece and internationally, with proven operational experience across the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Atlantic Ocean.

We undertake short- and long-distance Yacht Deliveries, sea trials, professional yacht handling, and support services for yacht owners, brokers, dealerships and yacht management companies.

Every assignment begins with careful planning and has one clear objective: to deliver the yacht safely, efficiently and without unnecessary risk.

Route planning, weather assessment, fuel management, navigation, safety procedures and continuous monitoring of the yacht’s systems are all essential parts of every Yacht Delivery.

Our experience goes beyond yacht handling. We have practical knowledge of marine mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, allowing us to identify technical issues early and, where possible, address them before they develop into more serious problems.

Having completed numerous yacht deliveries across different countries, ports, marinas and challenging sea conditions, we understand that every Yacht Delivery is different. For this reason, every yacht is treated individually, with sound judgement, proper preparation and complete respect for its value.

Yacht Delivery Services – Price List

Rates Effective from 1 September 2026

The following rates apply to all new bookings confirmed from 1 September 2026 onwards and cover professional Captain Services for Yacht Deliveries lasting one or more days.

Clients may choose between a Captain Service with mandatory additional crew or without additional crew, depending on the operational requirements of the voyage.

Daily Captain Services, hourly services, sea trials and yacht handling lessons are quoted separately.

What the Captain Service Includes

The Captain is responsible for the safe navigation of the yacht, voyage planning, operational management and the safe completion of the Yacht Delivery.

The Captain has extensive experience in navigation, yacht handling and modern marine electronic systems, together with practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. This allows technical issues to be identified early and, where possible, addressed during the voyage.

The service also includes daily yacht inspections, monitoring of essential onboard systems and full coordination of the delivery.

Captain Service Without Additional Crew

When no additional crew is provided, the owner, company representative or another competent person on board is required to assist the Captain during mooring, unmooring and any other operation necessary for the safe completion of the voyage.

This service is priced differently due to the additional responsibilities and duties assumed by the Captain.

Any boating licence or previous experience held by the owner does not affect the pricing or the Captain’s responsibilities. Once the Captain assumes responsibility for the Yacht Delivery, he has operational authority and makes all decisions relating to the safe navigation and management of the yacht.

Required Documentation & Authorization

Upon confirmation of the booking, the owner or company must provide all required original, valid and up-to-date documentation for the yacht, together with any necessary authorization.

Where required, a valid Power of Attorney (POA) must be issued in the Captain’s name, allowing him to legally represent the yacht before Port Authorities, Customs and other competent authorities.

Once the Captain officially takes command of the yacht, all manoeuvres during the voyage, including entry, departure, docking and undocking at ports and marinas, are carried out by the Captain.

The owner or company representative shall not operate the yacht during the Yacht Delivery unless specifically requested by the Captain for safety reasons.

Yacht Delivery is not a training service. Yacht handling lessons are available as a separate service and are charged on an hourly basis.

Terms & Conditions

The above rates do not include VAT.
The listed rates apply exclusively to the Captain’s professional fee.
Where additional crew is required, crew costs are charged separately.
Meals and transportation expenses for the Captain and crew are the responsibility of the owner or company.
Fuel, marina fees, port charges, customs fees and all other yacht operating expenses are the responsibility of the owner or company unless otherwise agreed in writing.
